Zusammenfassung: | We present an algorithm based on a short-term representation of the fractional Fourier transform which is highly suited to signals that contain multiple non-stationary components. To compare the time–frequency resolution of such signals using our proposed technique, we analyze several signals which contain multiple non-stationary components, including a synthetic signal and a bat echolocation signal. We demonstrate that our technique offers time–frequency representations with superior time–frequency resolution than several other established methods. |
