Molecular cloning of cDNAs encoding FSH-β and LH-β subunits in the pejerrey fish, Odontesthes bonariensis

Fragments of the cDNAs encoding for FSH- beta (428 bp) and LH- beta (366 bp) subunits were studied in the pejerrey (pj), Odontesthes bonariensis, Pejerrey gonadotropins (GtHs) are close to percomorpha fish GtHs, LH- beta has been better conserved than FSH- beta during teleosts evolution.
