Zusammenfassung:How to hit a triple: The title hydrocarbon, one of the most π‐bond‐rich small molecules, has been synthesized and characterized for the first time. This highly reactive hydrocarbon undergoes a new diene‐transmissive, triple Diels–Alder cycloaddition sequence to form six new CC bonds and the fused tricyclic phenalene ring system in one step. Controlled single additions have also been achieved.
