A fast Bortz–Kalos–Lebowitz implementation of the kinetic Monte Carlo technique for the prediction of strain ageing

A fast Bortz–Kalos–Lebowitz kinetic Monte Carlo model for the prediction of rates of strain ageing in ultra-low-carbon strip steel is presented. The new model is shown to accurately predict rates of ageing over the temperature range 50–100 °C and to display t 2/3 kinetics.
