Antipyretic therapy for influenza infection - benefit or harm?

Counters health guidelines which recommend that antipyretic treatment with paracetamol or ibuprofen be routinely administered to children and adults who develop an influenza-like illness during an epidemic or pandemic. Presents evidence to suggest that such treatment may potentially worsen the duration and severity of the illness.
