Proteome profile of the developing maize (Zea mays L.) rachis
In this study, we performed the first high‐throughput proteomic analysis of developing rachis (cob) from maize genotype Mp313E. Using two proteomic approaches, 2‐DE and 2‐D LC, we identified 967 proteins. A 2‐D proteome reference map was established. Functional classification of identified proteins...

Zusammenfassung: | In this study, we performed the first high‐throughput proteomic analysis of developing rachis (cob) from maize genotype Mp313E. Using two proteomic approaches, 2‐DE and 2‐D LC, we identified 967 proteins. A 2‐D proteome reference map was established. Functional classification of identified proteins revealed that proteins involved in various cellular metabolisms, response to stimulus and transport, were the most abundant. |
