Zusammenfassung:This study was carried out on C. umbla catched from Hazar Lake (Tigris River) and Keban Dam Lake (Euphrate) between December 2006 and November 2007. It was observed that the individuals obtained from both regions have showed a distribution between age groups of II-VII. During the study, 132 males (57.89%), 96 females (42.11%) of total 228 C. umbla from Hazar Lake and 123 males (53.03%), 109 females (46.97%) of total 232 C. umbla from Keban Dam Lake and were observed. Total length and weight distributions, respectively, ranged between 17.00-38.30 cm, 45.00-527.10 g in Hazar Lake, 23.80-38.90 cm and 116.00-615.40 g in Keban Dam Lake. Both length and weight values of Keban Dam Lake C. umbla population have been found higher than Hazar Lake population. The equation which explains the relation between total length and fish weight for general population is determined as in Hazar Lake W=0.0241TL super( 2.7038) and Keban Dam Lake W=0.0267TL super( 2.7272). Condition factor values in both populations have showed a decline in the beginning of April and showed its lowest values in may and june and the condition factor values were showed decreases with the increases of age.
