Mediterranean spotted fever with central and peripheral neurological complications

We report an unusual case of Mediterranean spotted fever in a 62‐year‐old woman with encephalo‐myelo‐meningo‐polyneuritis. Cerebral dysfunction reverted completely in a few days, but a slight spastic paraparesis remains as a sequel.
