Zusammenfassung:Traction is applied to the calcaneus and direct pressure is exerted over the lateral prominence of the talus, in a posteromedial direction, thus reducing it. 4 Risks associated with closed reduction include injury to the neurovascular structures, ankle ligaments, or tendons interposing in the fracture and displacement of occult fractures of the talus, which can restrict or even cause failure of attempted reduction. In a trauma situation, the greatest sensitivity and specificity is obtained by using coronal and axial images in bone viewing sequence with 2 mm cuts and three dimensional reconstruction. 7 8 4 What are the potential long term complications?
