Strategic research on sports industry in Guangxi

By employing strategic management theory and the SWOT analysis, this paper has made an objective analysis on the strengthness, weakness, opportunity and threatness of sports industry in Guangxi. It is revealed that we should adopt the S-W-O strategy and corresponding countermeasures for the development of sports industry in Guangxi, that is, taking advantage of opportunity and meeting the challenges in order to gain a healthy and fast development; intensifying sports facility construction and improving the infrastructure of sports industry; reinforcing the scientific and technological exploitation and enhancing research and exploitation level of sports science and technology; and taking all kinds of approaches to cultivate middle and advanced sports marketing and management personnel.
