Zusammenfassung: | The h-index, g-index and cumulative impact factor of these comprehensive social science journals are calculated by CSSCI over the period 1998-2007. Through the analysis of g-index, we found that g-index can distinguish the academic level of the journal to a certain extent. With the same g-index, it needs other evaluation index to be a supplement. On the cumulative impact factor analysis, it is considered that comprehensive social science journals are active. The comparison among h-index, g-index and cumulative impact factor, shows that g-index optimizes h-index evaluation, but it cannot replace h-index. h-index and g-index has a much stronger consistency in journal evaluation than cumulative impact factor. Finally, SPSS is utilized to analyze the relativity among h-index, g-index and cumulative impact factor. The conclusion is that strong correlation is explored. |
