Zusammenfassung: | Gender mainstreaming or an integrated approach to equality was presented at the end of the 1990s by political and administrative institutions responsible for women's rights as a new approach to sexual equality. The purpose of this article is to examine the reality and the eventual nature of the paradigmatic change which should have then occurred. The implementation of this policy has indeed led to actions in favour of gender equality that are more in continuity than a break with the previous approach. The balance sheet brings out a certain number of paradoxes, including the dilution of gender equality itself, which highlights the difficulty in influencing decision-making processes. |
