Zusammenfassung: | This article informs on the results of research carried out within the frame of a British Council and ELTA project in the Southeast Europe region with the aim of identifying professional and personal development needs of newly qualified teachers of English. The data were collected by means of a self-completion questionnaire survey and of four focus groups. The results of this research helped inform and focus the other three strands of the project by identifying who could be responsible for providing the support needed by newly qualified teachers of English and the forms in which these needs may be best met. |
