Zusammenfassung:The development of orthographic writing is a tool for children to express and organize their thoughts through their written production. Text revision contributes to this development as it allows children to think about the linguistic choices they make in their writing. However, if children take their mistakes as proof of their failure to learn, the revision of their own written production may be seen as a painful experience. This study describes the process of text revision carried out by a blind child, pinpointing the importance of metalinguistic activities and of the use of role-play to the acquisition of writing in Braille, to the development of self-esteem and to the reconstruction of learning paradigms.
