Some Recent Studies on Metalinguistics in Spanish

Our intention with this article is to present a series of pieces of research aiming at a specific analysis of the different aspects of the metalanguage of current Spanish. We offer an overview of what has been done, the theoretical elements on which the research has been based (a typology for the description of the diverse phenomena has been outlined), as well as some general conclusions.
