Zusammenfassung: | The design of a liquid-salt target with a conical vacuum cavity was studied. A method based on a universal one-dimensional velocity profile for pipes was proposed for calculating the heat transfer in a liquid-salt heat carrier. The method proposed was used as a basis for developing a program for calculating numerically the velocity and temperature fields in the melt. Variant calculations of the velocity and temperature fields in a target and the basic thermal parameters of a liquid-salt target were performed. It was shown that mechanical twisting of the flow can substantially increase the power of the target. 4 figures, 3 tables, 8 references.[PUBLICATION ABSTRACT] |
