Zusammenfassung: | The Mongol feudal legal texts Ikh tsaaz ([The Great Code], 1640) & Khalkha dzhirum ([Khalkha Laws], 1709-1770) are analyzed for syntactic peculiarities. Elliptic constructions, multipredicate structures, hypotactic sentences, conjunctions, sentence parts interrelationships, & V forms are discussed. It is concluded that these texts are characterized by the syntactic dichotomy of structural similarity to folk-oral texts & code specialization. 13 References. Z. Dubiel |
