Zusammenfassung: | Letters seeking information about services for the hearing impaired were sent to selected public relations officers for national broadcast systems in ten foreign countries. Services were separated into three areas: 1) service to hearing impaired children, 2) service to hearing impaired adults, and 3) service to parents with hearing impaired children. Information derived from the above letters was then compared to the literature on television services for the hearing impaired in the United States. A bibliography of articles in the American Annals of the Deaf and Deaf American pertaining to television and the hearing impaired is provided. |
