Zusammenfassung:Price, W. H. (The Johns Hopkins Univ. School of Hygiene & Public Health, Baltimore, Md. 21205). Sequential immunization as a vaccination procedure against dengue viruses. Amer J. Epid. 1968, 88: 392–397.—Spider monkeys were sequentially immunized with 17D yellow fever virus, dengue 2 virus, and Japanese encephalitis virus. When such monkeys were challenged subcutaneously 4 months after the last virus inoculum with dengue virus types 1, 3, or 4 definite protection was observed as indicated by viremia studies. Spider monkeys infected sequentially with dengue 1 virus followed by dengue 2 virus were protected 4 months later against subcutaneous challenges with dengue 3 virus or dengue 4 virus as indicated by studies of the level of challenge virus found in the blood stream
