Transfer from Mother to Offspring of Antifetal Antibody Induced in the Mouse by Multiparity

Summary Isohemagglutinins directed against fetal H−2 antigens inherited from the father are induced by multiparity in inbred mice. It is demonstrated that the hemagglutinins are transmitted in utero to the fetus and to the nursling via milk.
