Preparation of 20Ne, 24Mg, 28Si, 32S, and 36Ar targets by ion implantation into thin carbon foils

The preparation of isotopically pure 3 – 6 μ g / cm 2 targets of 20Ne, 24Mg, 28Si, 32S, and 36Ar by the implantation of 25–70 keV ions into 30 μ g / cm 2 carbon foils is described.
