Zusammenfassung: | A 13 year old boy with myocarditis due to diphtheria presented electrovectorcardiographic abnormalities of severe myocardial damage, consistent with the diagnosis of myocardial infarction. Serial recordings revealed a typical evolution toward normal. The relation of these electrophysiologic changes to myocarditis and other “primary” myocardopathies is discussed. The importance of the interpretation of electrovectorcardiographic abnormalities in accordance with the clinical findings is re-emphasized. |
