Urinary Metabolites in Parkinson's Disease

Although DMPEA does not seem to be a component of the pink spot in Parkinsonism, high urinary concentrations of tryptamine may be associated with some cases of the disease. This suggests that in such cases tryptamine hydroxylation is defective.
