But the increase of Cu concentrations was significantly different between the two populations. The increase in copper content in roots of HA population was markedly higher than in roots of TL population with the prolongation of Cu treatment time. After Cu treatment for 7 days, malondialdehyde (MDA) concentration in HA population sharply increased with the increase of Cu concentration in solution. MDA concentration in roots was higher in HA population than in TL population.
