Zusammenfassung:	A method is described for the determination of trace amounts of glucose in urine, suitable for use in pregnancy. Urines are treated with mixed ion exchange resin to remove interfering substances. Aldosaccharides are measured with o-toluidine before and after removal of glucose with glucose oxidase, the difference being a measure of true glucose. Glucose oxidase is used in Tris buffer in order to inhibit lactase which contaminates some glucose oxidase preparations. This is of importance when measuring small amounts of glucose in pregnancy urines.
