Adrenal abscess in a neonate

A case of adrenal abscess is presented as an example of a rare lesion which mimics neuroblastoma. Although careful evaluation of history, physical findings, and laboratory data may suggest an inflammatory process, diagnosis depends upon exploratory surgery and through pathologic study.
