Late solitary colonic recurrence of renal carcinoma

A case of late metastasis from adenocarcinoma of the left kidney presenting as a primary lesion of the transverse colon is presented. Although the intestinal mucosa is rarely the site of metastasis, the adjacent colon or duodenum may be the site of the renal metastasis.
