Zusammenfassung:Reproducibility of pantographic recordings was tested. Six pantographic recordings were performed on seven patients over a period of two months time. Three tracings were recorded under control conditions, and three were recorded under the experimental conditions (the suggested technique). The articulator settings obtained were compared and analyzed. Statistical and clinical implications were discussed. It was found that, for articulator settings obtained by using a pantographic technique, reproducibility is a practical quality of border movements. With a 95 per cent level of significance, it can be stated that there seems to be (1) a difference among patients, (2) a difference between right and left sides, and (3) virtually no clinically significant difference between experimental and control conditions.
