Zusammenfassung:	The clinical and histologic appearances of bullous lichen planus are discussed. The disorder must be distinguished from other bullous lesions, and the condition most likely to give rise to diagnostic difficulty is pemphigoid. Severe cases are treated by the administration of systemic corticosteroids, while the less severe cases are best treated by the application of topical corticosteroid preparations.
