Zusammenfassung:Enteritis necroticans has been reported in epidemic form from Northern Germany and New Guinea. Fifteen sporadic cases have been identified at postmortem examination during the past five years in Uganda. Clinical and postmortem features are described. Clostridium welchii were isolated from the intestine and mesenteric lymph nodes in three of the more recent patients.
