Metastasis to the mandible

Three cases of metastatic neoplasm of the mandible are described. The mechanism of dissemination and the subsequent growth of tumor masses are discussed in general, with special reference to the mandible. The incidence of skeletal metastasis from different malignant growths is mentioned.
