Zusammenfassung: | The purpose of this investigation was to evaluate the effects of pin diameter, pin length, and surface texture on the retention of pin castings with cylindrical pins.
It was found that the retention of the cemented castings increased as the diameter and the length of the pins were increased. The retention also was greater when threaded pins were used instead of smooth cylindrical pins. The castings with threaded 4.0 mm., 0.75 mm. diameter pins registered the greatest retention. |
