Zusammenfassung:The in vitro bactericidal activity of sera from adult Holstein-Friesian cattle against Aerobacter acrogencs, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli 0127 is attributed to a system which includes antibody and complement components. Bento-nite-adsorbable factors (B.A.F.) are also beneficial for the production of the anti-Eschcrichia effect, but the in vitro activity of bovine serum against A. aerogenes and P. aeruginosa may be inhibited by B.A.F.
