Zusammenfassung:Synthesis of every kinds of peptide fragments of bradykinin and results of the biological activities of the synthetic bradykinin fragments on contracting effect of a guinea pig ileum, inframmatory activity on rat's hind paw and vasodilation on rat are described. So far as concerning with the contracting effect, the active site of bradykinin seems to be the phenylalanylserylprolylphenylalanine moiety. The inflammatory activity is fairy high as compared with that of bradykinin.
