Zusammenfassung: | Three patients in whom the resection of a ventricular aneurysm led to termination of dangerous cardiac arrhythmias are reported. The patients have remained well without recurrence of myocardial infarction, cardiac failure or cardiac arrhythmia for periods of 11 to 45 months. Congestive heart failure and peripheral embolism have been recognized as important complications of ventricular aneurysm and as possible indications for surgical resection; arrhythmias have received relatively little attention, but may constitute another indication for operation. |
