Zusammenfassung:Bobwhites (Colinus virginianus) naturally infected with Capillaria contorta were treated with Maretin® (200 ppm in feed for 48 hours) and Meldane® (40 ppm in feed for 10 days). Maretin proved to be a significantly better helminthicide than Meldane in reducing C. contorta. It appears that Maretin is more useful in treating capillariasis in quail than any previously studied helminthicide.
