Adenosine-3′,5′-Phosphate: Identification as Acrasin in a Species of Cellular Slime Mold

Acrasin, the chemotactic agent responsible for aggregation in the cellular slime molds, has been identified for one species, Dictyostelium discoideum, as adenosine-3′,5′-phosphate.
