Zusammenfassung: | Five cases of sarcoidosis with marked x-ray changes and normal pulmonary diffusing capacity (Group I) and five cases with
none or minimal x-ray changes and marked abnormality of pulmonary diffusing capacity (Group II) are presnted. They were selected
to illustrate the disparity which may exist between pulmonary function studies and the radiographic appearance of the chest
in sarcoidosis. The five patients with clear peripheral chest x-ray films and abnormal pulmonary studies were Negroes. No
relationship was found between duration of the disease and the D L level. |
