Healed meconium peritonitis presenting as a scrotal mass in an infant

Healed meconium peritonitis may present in an infant as a hard, nontender intrascrotal mass. The presence of intra-abdominal and intrascrotal calcifications on abdominal roentgenograms is sufficient reason to manage the patient conservatively.
