Zusammenfassung:In a preliminary study on the localization of vaccinia antigen by immunouranium technique it appeared that most antigenic reactivity was destroyed during fixation and embedding. Nevertheless, viral particles were specifically localized 14 and 20 hours after infection of HeLa cells. They appeared in the cytoplasm either as scattered clusters or as discrete, dense inclusion bodies.
