Zusammenfassung:A pulsed Doppler system is described which has been added to a commercial diagnostic pulsed ultrasound machine. This required only minor modification to the existing circuitry. The main feature of the system is the use of a synchronizable oscillator as a reference. It is being used to provide velocity information of various anatomical targets which are first accurately defined using the normal modes of the ultrasound machine.
