Zusammenfassung:In 1995 the World Trade Organization's (WTO) Trade Policy Review division conducted its first review of Sri Lanka's trade policies. The Trade Policy Review Mechanism (TPRM) reports and the TPRM process are used to address questions relating to development in Sri Lanka and lessons other countries might draw from the Sri Lanka experience. The economic environment and trade policies of Sri Lanka are discussed.
