Zusammenfassung: | Indigenous peoples in the US and other former British colonies are determining their own cultural landscapes and economic survival after their liberation from British colonial imperialism, which tried to forge a homogeneous relationship with all of them. These native groups are seeking tribal autonomy and self-governance while battling the effects of poverty and displacement, as they also struggle to break free from individual and group identities that meet conflicting worldviews and have infused a sense of ambiguity and even hopelessness among communities. |
