Zusammenfassung: | Radioactive phosphorus was used to determine the depth of penetration in extracted, noncarious teeth of agents used in the bleaching of fluorosed teeth. None of the agents appeared to penetrate the enamel and dentin into the pulp chamber. Radioactive iodine was used to determine the permeability of enamel and dentin after treatment with hydrochloric acid, which is one of the components of McInnes's bleaching solution. No increase in permeability was detected. |
