Isolation of Actinobacillus Suis from a Colt

For the first time in Britain, Actinobacillus suis was isolated from the eyes and nose of a two-year-old thoroughbred colt suffering from arthritis and loss in condition. The colt and his dam showed serological evidence of infection with the organism.
