Chlorohydrocarbons in Marquette fish hatchery lake trout (Salvelinus namaycush)

Some data are available on PCB and insecticide content of Lake Superior lake trout. An examination determines whether similar concentrations of chlorohydrocarbons are detectable in lake trout not directly exposed to waters of Lake Superior, but which live within the lake's watershed. Differences in kind and amount of chlorohydrocarbons detected in Lake Superior trout and in lake trout taken from a fish hatchery within the watershed are identified.
