The Effect of Endotoxin on Skin Homografts in Rabbits

Administration of endotoxin to rabbits results in the accelerated rejection of first-set skin homografts. The production of endotoxin tolerance suspends this effect of endotoxin on first-set skin homografts. This action of endotoxin is limited to homografts and does not affect autografts.
