A bipolar electrode needle for the introduction of crystals into the brain

Bipolar concentric electrodes have been constructed for chemical and electrical stimulation of the CNS deep structures. We used a stainless steel needle, its outside surface well insulated, coated with a silver conducting varnish. These electrodes are easy to build and mechanically very resistant.
