Zusammenfassung:	The characteristics of congenital neutropenia are described and a case report is presented. A rationale and a method of dental management, based on the literature, are developed. Special attention is given to the problems of caries control, periodontal and surgical management, and the prevention of bacteremias and postoperative infections in patients with congenital neutropenia.
