Zusammenfassung: | In the short time allotted our distinguished panel, I hope we have been successful in indicating the multiplicity of causes of chest pain, the distinguishing features of some of the more common causes and the frequency with which overlapping of systems is involved. Obviously, the clinician is guided by a carefully obtained history, his experience in observation, his knowledge of the patient's personality, past medical and surgical life. Chest pain represents a common cause for seeking medical advice and it would be most helpful for the clinician to spend the time and energy necessary to distinguish the common causes. It is with this in mind the panel approached this problem. |
